In 2023, under the guidance of the consulting team of IMO, Metallurgy Pty Ltd started to evaluate Prodigy Gold’s Hyperion deposit’s suitability for gravity and cyanide leaching.
The gold testwork, carried out by Metallurgist Marcus Bowden, which was recently completed, showed the following results:
– Presence of gravity-recoverable gold
– Suitable for conventional processing methods (CIL)
– Overall gold recovery rates 95.1-97.9%
The team at IMO is excited that it was able to assist Mark Edwards and his team at Prodigy Gold in revealing the potential for excellent gold recoveries through a conventional CIL circuit with its bench-scale metallurgical testwork.
