Working on Australia’s biggest graphite resource surely is something special.
IMO is providing work for Kingsland Mineral’s Leylin Graphite Project, located in the NT, with initial metallurgical testwork achieving a concentrate of +94% Total Graphitic Carbon (TGC).
Under the guidance of IMO’s Project Metallurgist, Hollie Harrison, there are plans to conduct bulk graphite flotation at Metallurgy Pty Ltd to generate bulk concentrate for further downstream testwork once the beneficiation flowsheet has been further optimised.
This testwork plays a vital role in the development of Kingsland Mineral’s project, as it assists in de-risking the project ahead of committing to a feasibility study.
We thank the team around Richard Maddock for their trust and are looking forward to assessing the viability of production of spherical graphite from your project in the near future.
